                              CC at the International Gay Games VII held in Chicago July 2006

Pictured here with their Bronze Medals are her 3rd Place Teammates Chuck & Lance from New York and Keith from California. There were over 800 international bowlers from over 70 countries in this once in a lifetime event...in four years the next Gay Games will be held in Cologne, Germany.  'A thrill of a lifetime' is how CC described her experience.

                                                       CARA League Tournament (2007-2008)

League of Women Bowlers competed their first time in the Annual CARA League Tournament...we were one of ten

gay leagues participating...we came in Second Place Over-All and in the Finals we placed Third...one of our league

members came in First Place in the simultaneous 8-Pin No Tap CARA Tournament.  League Tournament Team above:

                             Home Center for "We Are Everywhere" League: USA Bowl - Alexandria

This tournament was held Saturday, May 5th at the Dale City AMF Lanes...it is the Annual CARA Gay Leagues Tournament. We came in 3rd place in this, our first year entering!  CARA stands for Capital Area Rainbowlers Association and has currently 10 gay leagues participating...League of Women Bowlers will hopefully make that 11 teams this upcoming season. Click the Bowling League Web Sites page above for more info on CARA events.
